Arrests
Mia Anastasia Mitchell, 21, Keokuk, was arrested at 5:28 a.m. Thursday, in Keokuk, and charged with a pretrial release violation. She was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Casey Lynn Gunning, 43, Keokuk, was arrested on an affidavit at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday. She was jailed.
Jailed
Christin Yvonne Young, 42, of Hamilton, Ill. was jailed at 8:05 a.m. Wednesday, in Fort Madison, on a mittimus judgement warrant.
Accident
Deputies were called to a one-vehicle accident at 1:17 p.m. Wednesday on 275th Avenue, involving a passenger car, driven by Cassandra Marie Kussman, 29, Keokuk. According the accident report, Kussman said she was southbound in the 3300 block of Mississippi River Road when her brakes went out, causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the road and came to rest in the creek off 275th Avenue. The accident caused disabling damage and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
