A Cheshire Cat grin of a moon cast a mischievous mood upon downtown Fort Madison Friday evening.
The 13th annual Wine and Beer Walk had a festive feel as people lingered on sidewalks in groups, perused the goods and samples in downtown businesses and enjoyed a night out with friends.
A trio, Donna Newkirk, Ashley Farris and Melissa Copland, enjoyed wine and cheese samples from Hy-Vee at the Fort Madison Area Art Association Art Center.
Newkirk said they go on the wine and beer walk every year.
鈥淚t澳门开奖 nice to get together and get out and see everything downtown,鈥 she said.
While the trio didn鈥檛 necessarily have a favorite stop, Newkirk said, 鈥渨e always find something new and we鈥檙e like 鈥榳oo!鈥欌
At the Fort Madison Partners Office, Chamber Director Savanna Collier said all the glasses had been sold. Some old glasses had been discovered and were sold as well, at a discount. This year澳门开奖 glasses were sponsored by Eternelle Beaute.
Collier estimated 1,000 people attended the walk 鈥 if not more.

The Broom Closet & Healing Haven South had drinks of choice, Single Speed Brewing Co. was at Rev Fitness, Reunion Brewing Co. at Parthenon, Wine from Hy-Vee at Fort Madison Area Art Association Art Center, 30 Acre Wine at Sarah Lu Tattoo, Busted Cup Brew Haus at Riverside Nutrition, Cedar Ridge Distillery at Faeth澳门开奖 Cigar Store, Thunder Creek Winery at Wondra Chiropractric, The Grange Public House Brewery at River Rocks, Lost Duck Brewing Co. will be at its home, and Millstream Brewing Co. and Millstreem Root Beer was at Devine Canvas.
