Great River Christian School in Burlington is still taking Christmas gifts as part of the Operation Christmas Child gift donation drive.
Operation Christmas Child has been collecting and delivering shoebox gifts鈥攆illed with school supplies, personal care items and fun toys鈥攖o children worldwide since 1993.
Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 209 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 170 countries and territories.
In 2023, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoeboxes to reach another 11 million children.
More than 4,500 locations have been opened to collect the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts for the Samaritan澳门开奖 Purse project this past week.
This year, Operation Christmas Child celebrates its 30th year of ministry, and this year marks Great River Christian School澳门开奖 21st year as a drop-off location.
The project partners with local churches across the globe to deliver these tangible expressions of God澳门开奖 love to children in need, according to organizers.
